Biography
Barrington has worked in the entertainment industry since he was 16. He learnt his trade working in London, Kent and the South East. In the early 80's he formed a sucessful group, who wrote all their own songs and were very well known locally. Barrington both sang and played drums. At this time his DJ skills were much in demand, so the group disbanded rather early. Barrington went on to become one of the top DJ's on a London Radio station.
He eventually moved to the European circuit, where he worked regularly in Portugal, France, Switzerland and Spain. He was the resident entertainer at the La Victoria Hotel in the Vendee,France for 5 summer seasons.
He has worked regularly on the Algarve in Portugal, Torre del Mar, Mojacar Playa (where he worked both Christmas and New Year for three years) , Benidorm, where he has sang with Showaddy waddy and top vocalist Gerry Jones. Barrington sang regularly with well known French artist Sylvain Mayne whilst entertaining in France and worked for French companies Osmos and Sono Star.He was also the resident soul singer at Motown's resturant.
Barrington has performed for the Hyatt International hotel chain, both in Switzerland & Spain. He has entertained at both English and Spanish weddings/Blessings at the Hotel Bahia,Hyatt Regency Hotel, Principle Phillipe, & Los Lomas. He lives in the Murcia region of Spain with his wife Julie.
